Senior Session FAQ’s
-
Yes please do, the more the better! Bringing a friend(s) or parent(s) helps focus our sessions directly on you. It always useful to have people around who know how to make you feel comfortable, can help hold extra items, or fix that one piece of hair in your face. Need some tunes to avoid being camera shy? Feel free to bring a speaker!

For Fun
Bring any accessories you’d like for photos whether that be your cap/gown, champagne, confetti pooper, cowboy hat/boots, etc.
It always helps to have a hairbrush, makeup, wipes, or even a towel for any touch ups.
For Outfits
Typically, in a one hour session, people have time to change into 2-3 outfits, but that can range depending on where you want to take your pictures, and keep in mind walking time to different places. Make sure to bring any accessories you want and plan them out beforehand!

You will get your pictures back within 2-3 weeks! Possibly sooner depending on how booked I am with other sessions.
You’ll receive a link from me that will include all of your photos and the ability to download them onto your computer or phone. I recommend downloading them to your computer first because it’s faster and easier, then airdrop them to your phone or put them into a drive.

Whether you’re graduating in the fall or spring, it’s best to reach out and confirm a session date towards the beginning of the semester. With that being said, you can be a spring graduate and book in the fall, or a fall graduate and book in the spring! Don’t worry, it’s not uncommon to take them early or late.
Perks of Fall Sessions: It’s not nearly as hot, there’s way less people out taking pictures and no lines for popular locations, not as many people book sessions so there are more available times/dates, and you can pull out your fall clothes for the session if you want!
Perks of Spring Sessions: The flowers and trees will be in full bloom which makes for stunning backdrops on top of popular campus locations, it’s the perfect time pull out any dresses or summertime wear, and a great time to do group sessions for one last hooray before graduation!

My sessions are my side hustle to my full time nonprofit job, so any tips are so appreciative, but not required! :)

There’s so many but here are some of my favorites…
The Tower, of course, specifically the east side of it where there’s a little garden area
The turtle pond area
Architecture garden and blue door
Stadium seal
South lawn near the sorority houses
Littlefield Fountain
Moody bridge
However, there are many other places on campus that make for amazing pictures. Just let me know where you’d like to go and we can make it happen!

Unfortunately, UT grad season can be really busy at times, often leading to lines in popular areas such as the fountain, tower, or architecture garden. Ultimately, we won’t know how long it might take to get through a certain location until we’re on there and I have no control over how many photographers or sessions will be going on. But, I’ll do my best to fit you in and work around the other sessions!
